We have used Alan’s Removals three times over the last four years. Michael and his team have proved to be the most willing, caring and expert removal men. Nothing was too much trouble for. them and they carried out their work with total dedication. We cannot recommend them highly enough. Everything was superbly wrapped and packed and we had no breakages. When it came to unloading they installed everything exactly where we wanted it, and did not complain when we changed our mind over the position of any item. A first-class tram of removal men.

We were recommended to use Michael and his team and it's one of the best bits of advice we have had. Michael is committed to customer service as are all his team - all of whom have worked with him for at least three years. They packed everything very carefully ensuring that nothing was damaged. In addition to all the stuff in the house they moved a lot of garden stuff - we had two garage sized sheds full plus a tandem garage full to move. They also moved a load of very heavy plants - tree ferns etc.
It was like having John Lewis do the move for you - yes it was that good. We have just made a temporary move and Michael and the guys will definitely do the next one.

We used Alans Removals through a friend's recommendation. From the moment Michael (the owner) met us to view our property in order to provide a quote, we were impressed. Two weeks prior to our move (which we local; less than one mile from our previous home), I called Michael in a slight panic to ask if his team could pack for us the day before moving; nothing was too much trouble. We had a grand piano to move, lots of camping equipment, 8 bikes and a lot of garden pots. His professionalism, honesty and courtesy was extended by his whole team (many of whom are family members) throughout the entire packing and moving process. They were on time, worked hard and even swept our old garage for us on departure. We had a large move (200+ boxes) but nothing was damaged / broken. I would highly recommend Alans Removals.

The guys moved us over one and a half days and we didn't need to lift a finger. Nothing got broken, neither house had any damage and they were cheerful and polite throughout.

We were only moving 10 miles but there was a lot of furniture, garden things including a slide and a garage full of bikes, clutter and stored items. We also have a lot of crystal glasses and china in a display cabinet.

From the first moment I met Michael I felt that we were in good hands and I'm happy to report that I wasn't mistaken.

I used Alans Removals on the recommendation of my (very particular) friend, who had utilised their services for her house move. From the moment I first met Michael (the owner) I was completely reassured that it was a great recommendation, and nothing was too much trouble. Not only were Michael and his team calm, cheerful, polite, punctual and super efficient, they were also very reasonably priced. Having moved on many occasions before I know first hand that a removal company can either make the move stressful or easy, and they made it as super smooth as it possibly could have been. Mark lovingly packed up everything so well that absolutely nothing got damaged (even some really fragile stuff)
Once in my new house, Michael mentioned that they had recently ventured into the decorating business, and as I was so impressed with their removals (hard working, very careful, very reasonable and very polite and efficient), I decided to employ their services for my painting needs in the new house. Thomas tuned up 2 days later, and never have I seen a more diligent, organised, clean, super careful and precise painter. All in all, I simply can't recommend Alans Removals highly enough as either a removal or decorating company They have been absolutely excellent and made my house move so much easier than I ever thought it could be.

I moved house on 20th January after living in the same home for 30 years so I was expecting maximum stress. But this wasn't the case thanks to Alan's Removals. We were put in touch with them by a work colleague who spoke very highly of them and I totally concur. They did a brilliant job in packing my life with meticulous care and making sure everything was where it should be in the new house. Also they unexpectedly unpacked most of my wardrobe-based clothing and hung it all very neatly - saved me a lot of time on a very busy weekend. I cannot thank them enough.

Two men came to do the packing on the first day, they are both very pleasant, efficient and discreet. The next day there were five men to finish packing, load and unload. They are all very pleasant and strong!! I have know finished unpacking and no damages are to be reported, all items were very well packed. I highly recommend Alans Removals, I have moved many times and this is one of the best experiences I have had. I will be passing on your details to friends. Thanks for a great job.

We had a very positive expoerience with Alans removals. On the day they arrived promptly and the care and professionalism displayed by the team at Alans removals both in packing at current property to the new property was to the highest standards.

Despite being delayed by the completition process Alan removals were patient and extremely professional.

The men turned up dead on time, looked and worked professionally and were courteous at all times. They packed on the Wednesday ready for delivery on the Friday, but as they had spare time on Thursday they, after asking, came over and moved a lorry-load a day ahead if time. On the day of the move they took time to place boxes and furniture exactly where we wanted them, even when we changed our minds. No mess, no losses, no damage. It could not have been better and even a very competitive price!

I have recently moved from Middlesex to Staffordshire. This was achieved in one day by Alan's Removals. It was a long old day but by 5pm we were sipping Prosecco in my new garden after getting everything in the house!

From getting the initial quote I have found the team, Michael in particular, extremely helpful and courteous with great communication.

I am hoping I won't be moving again for a long time, but would definitely use again!

We recently used Alans Removals to move from a 3 bed N16 garden flat to an E5 (three storey) house. We are two adults, two children and a cat (with a lot of stuff!).

We were recommended by a friend and they did not disappoint.

Michael (the director) came round to quote despite being given hardly any notice and a very tight window for our completion. He comes across as being very polite, considerate and professional as well as very easy-going. Everything we wanted to inspire confidence in a removals firm.

We went for a full packing service (definitely recommended).

The quote we received was competitive and broadly in line (but lower) with other quotes we had both from national and local firms.

Two of Michael's team came the day before the move and really efficiently got everything ready for the move. Again with good humour, courtesy and consideration at all times

Michaels team (and Michael!) worked incredibly hard on the day. They coped with:
- a late completion, we were packed by 1pm but did not get keys for new property until 5pm
-a lack of parking (but even avoided getting a ticket, with three vans)
-our extra requests to remove or shuffle existing furniture in the new property up and down stairs
-a huge amount of garden items including a tonne or so of soil that had to go up and down stairs
-narrow twisting stairwells over three storeys

Michael and his team managed to get us in in a matter of hours. Everything was treated with care, correctly labelled and placed, properly re-assembled.

We were left to unpack boxes at out leisure with the offer for them to come and pick up the empty boxes when ready.

To summarise: competitive pricing, friendly, considerate, professional, hard working, relaxed, good humoured, organised. You will get treated as a person/family - not just a job. We heartily recommend them.

From start to finish everyone was fantastic. The request for a quote was prompt, professional and friendly. Prices are competitive and received great advice on how to save costs. They were beyond patient and understanding as we changed our moving date several times (Thank you Michael). On the day itself they were great, super helpful and very friendly, overall making what can be a stressful experience painless. I will definitely use them again and would recommend them.

We used Alans Removals based on glowing reviews on Facebook. We had got a (much more expensive quote) from a national removals company prior to meeting Michael. However, as soon as we met Michael we knew we were going to choose his company and the added bonus was the reasonable price.

Michael and his team were amazing, they packed everything and unpacked the kitchen at our new home. Nothing was too much trouble for them, and they worked so hard over two days. Not only was the job done perfectly, but they were cheerful, friendly and were great with my two children as well, who were excited by all the boxes/ vans etc.

I would thoroughly recommend them, and although we are now based further away from them, we will definitely use them again when we move from our current home to the next.

We gave Alans Removals the opportunity to provide a quotation based on raving reviews from parents on Facebook. We were moving from our 3/4 bed house (lots of kids stuff and books) with outside sheds packed with other things to our new house spanning over 3 floors. Michael gave a great first impression when coming round to provide the instant quotation which was very competitive. I was certain at that point Michael and his team would take care of our things which proved to be correct. Michael and his amazing team exceeded all expectations in their professionalism, care, strength and energy from start to finish. They worked continuously throughout the day until it got dark but the whole team still had smiles on their faces and the job was done perfectly. They made the house move a joy and stress-free. This is a team that would go above and beyond what a normal removal is supposed to be to ensure the customers are not only satisfied, but completely relaxed and immensely impressed. We will definitely use Alans Removals again if required and will recommend to any of our family and friends.

Alan's Removals did a wonderful job with our house move. In half the time and at almost half the price of other competing companies. We were put in touch with them by family friends who spoke very highly of them and we were not disappointed.

The quotations process was quick and painless, with a short visit one evening by their very professional and courteous staff. Clearly very experienced in this area, they provided a very accurate assessment of the number of boxes we would need and the number/size of the vehicles required to deliver. They also offered a packing service, which we didn't take advantage of (though probably should have done!), though we did purchase packing material - which proved to be spot on in terms of amount and of a good quality.

They proved very flexible (within reason) on moving days, adjusting to our needs and moving us on a Sunday.

Come moving day, both vans arrived a full half an hour early, staffed with three amazing gentlemen - very polite, very patient with our 5 year old (who was very curious) and very professional. We kept them supplied with coffee and they worked solidly from 7:45 until about 12pm, loading all of our possessions into the vans (including taking apart furniture where required) again, being very patient with me while I raced about trying to do the last few bits.

From there, we met them at our new house around 2-3 hours later, where they once again worked non-stop to unload all of our boxes and furniture safely and securely into the locations we required - rebuilding anything that had been taken apart. No damages, no problems. All done by 5pm. Amazing, quite frankly. We really cannot compliment the three chaps who did the heavy lifting enough. Astonishing strength, stamina and work ethic, lovely guys to boot.

All in all, it was a wonderful service. Moving is a very stressful undertaking and Alan's Removals ensured our move went smoothly, efficiently and safely. Very highly recommended.
